Let’s get started Assistant not visible? Any questions? What deadlines apply? What if I add new devices to my orderbird PRO POS system? Multiple accounts cannot be registered via orderbird I already have a TSS. Do I still need to register my POS system?

Want to register your POS system with the tax office in accordance with the German “Kassensicherungsverordnung” (KassenSichV)? But the official instructions from the Federal Ministry of Finance for eAS reporting aren’t helping you? Then use the orderbird Registration Assistant in MY orderbird to fulfill your reporting obligation in just a few clicks!

Not sure if the notification has already been submitted? Log in to MYorderbird and click on the menu item "TSE". If you completed the registration via our registration assistant, the details will be stored there. Otherwise, please contact your tax advisor; they can provide information if the notification was submitted through other means.

You will see this view when the notification has been sent:

Let’s get started

  1. Go to MY orderbird > TSE and click on “Start registration assistant” to launch the assistant.

    Assistant not visible?

Make sure that your TSE is activated and at least one shift has been started.

  2. Confirm that you take responsibility for the correctness of the data and accept the service fee, then click “Continue” (Weiter) at the top right of the dialog box.
  3. Enter the required details: information about your business and its legal representative, your company’s tax information, and the location of your POS system.
  4. Review your data before submitting – and then go ahead and submit it!

Any questions?

What deadlines apply?

If you purchased and activated your orderbird PRO POS system on or after July 1st, 2025, your POS must be registered within one month.
You can find a full overview of all deadlines here: Notification Requirement for the Technical Safety Equipment (TSE) in Germany

What if I add new devices to my orderbird PRO POS system?

If you add new devices to your POS system, you must register each new device using the assistant as well. Don’t worry – it only takes a minute, since you won’t need to re-enter all information.

Multiple accounts cannot be registered via orderbird

If you have multiple accounts linked to the same tax number, unfortunately you cannot use the assistant! This is due to a technical limitation on the part of the tax authorities.
In this case, please contact your tax advisor or use the ELSTER portal: https://www.elster.de/eportal/start

I already have a TSS. Do I still need to register my POS system?

Yes, absolutely! The TSS protects your POS system against tampering. By registering your POS system, you officially report your entire POS setup to your tax office.
