Important things if you change the name or the ownership of your company or sell your device

In the event of a change of ownership, or resale of your orderbird MINI, you must cancel your current orderbird MINI account. The new user of the device must create a new account for their business on the device.

Step 1 | Cancel the current account

Contact us by email or via the MY orderbird chat and let us know …

  • the date on which you would like to cancel your license,
  • the reason for your cancellation, and
  • your customer number or the serial number of your device.

Step 2 | New owner = new account!

Before handing over your MINI to the new owner, make sure your data is secure. orderbird MINI does not have a logout button. Therefore, clear the app data so that your information is no longer accessible. Don’t worry! Your sales data and reports will still be available to you via MY orderbird.

Here’s how:

  1. On your MINI, tap at the top of the screen to open the black device menu.
  2. Tap the gear icon on the right and enter the password if needed: pax9876@@
  3. Go to Storage > (Other) Apps > MINI and tap “Clear data”.

What about the item list?

New account but the same product range? No problem. We can copy the data from the previous account to the new one. Just follow a few steps and your data will be available in the new account in no time.

  1. Create a new account on MY orderbird and let us know once you have registered in MY orderbird.  

    1 account, 1 email address

    Make sure to use a new email address for the new account, as each email address can only be linked to one account at a time.

     
  2. Then send a declaration of consent from the old MY orderbird email address stating that you agree to the transfer of intellectual property to the new account. For example:

    “I hereby agree that the item list from the MY orderbird account ‘oldaccount@provider.xy’ is transferred to the MY orderbird account ‘newaccount@provider.xy’.”
     
  3. You will receive an email once the product list has been transferred to the new account.
